Science Materials Request
Shortly, students will begin their next two Science Units: Testing Materials and Designs in conjunction with Building With A Variety Of Materials. For the months of February, March, and April students will participate in collaborative, hands-on Science activities that will involve designing and building various structures. In order to make these activities a success I am hoping that parents will be able to donate the following items:

- Jars and Lids
- String, yarn, twine, ribbon, pipe cleaners

- Thread spools

- Plastic bags, zip locks
- Dowels
- Plastic containers
- Marbles
- Old CD’s
- Boxes of various sizes from food items – crackers, cereal, oatmeal, cookies, etc…

Today We:
- Had Music.
- Tried to finish up our pen pal letters.
- Participated in some running drills, and practiced our shooting skills by playing 21 in Gym.
- Listened to the story “Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch” by Eileen Spinelli.
- Sketched Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) following an online guided Disney Drawing Tutorial. We discussed how this movie is about family, and unconditional love.
- Handed out our valentines, and played a few rounds of Statues (or Wax Museum).
