Here are some guidelines for Halloween tomorrow:
- Wear your costume to school.
- Leave props, and weapons at home.
Today We:
- Created new personal goals for the week.
- Completed a small handwriting activity.
- Finished writing and editing our detailed sandwich paragraphs about last week’s in-class rocks and minerals fieldtrip. We glued our writing into our sketchbooks and began creating a detailed picture to accompany our writing.
- Continued reading “The Tale of Despereaux.” We have been introduced to the character Miggery Sow; she has a horrible quality of life!
- Participated in Literacy Centers.
- Completed a Math assessment activity in our sketchbooks. Ms. England asked us to show her all the ways we could make the number 10. After 5 minutes we shared our answers, and wrote down the ideas we didn’t have in pencil crayon. We repeated the activity, but had to show her all the ways we could make the number 100. We then reviewed our answers, and added ways that we didn’t have in pencil crayon.
- Played 4-Way Treasure Hunt in Gym. Students please explain to your parents how to play this game.
- Participated in 2 rounds of Rocks and Minerals Science Centers. Students please tell your parents what centers you worked on today.
