Rocks and Minerals Materials Required for Upcoming Activities – Your child will be participating in numerous Rocks and Minerals Science centers and activities over the next few weeks. The following is a list of requested materials that your student will need. Please have materials to school by Monday October 23.
- an egg carton
- plastic lids
- a rock the size of your child’s palm, but no bigger than their fist; Smoother rocks will work best for this activity.

- Had silent reading time.
- Played Capture the Treasure in Gym. Students please explain to your parents how to play this game.
- Visited Ms. Purkiss in room 10. We talked about unexpected vs expected behaviours at school, the different zones of regulation people can be in (red, yellow, green, and blue), as well as Superflex and the Super Villains! To end our visit we played Superflex Jeopardy! We also got to visit with Shadow the bunny, and George the Gecko.
