Today We:
- Were missing half our class today due to the weather! We only had 12 students in the morning, and 13 students in the afternoon!
- Worked on sketching 2 important images/symbols that represented our learning from our visit with Shirley Hill yesterday. After sketching our images we began writing a letter to our parents. We used the two important symbols that we sketched as the basis for the two required paragraphs in our letters. If we sketched a frog, then we wrote about what we learned in relation to water, Mother Earth, etc. If we sketched a residential school we wrote about what we learned about Ms. Shirley’s family, Blackfoot language, etc…
- Read Carolina’s Gift – A Story of Peru during snack and story.
- Had library time.
- Continued working on our pen pal letters.
- Worked on the following Quick Math Problem: Mrs. V had 24 stickers. She gave 3 stickers to each of her 4 friends. How many does she have left?
- Practiced bounce passes in Gym.
